4-)Our Vertical Shaft Impact Crushers (VSI)

The Perfect Solution for High-Quality Sand Production!

Our Vertical Shaft Impact Crushers (VSI) offer the perfect solution for concrete and asphalt aggregate production, fine material processing in the construction sector, and high-quality sand production. They efficiently process a wide range of materials, including limestone, dolomite, basalt, and granite, ensuring a high percentage of fine material and sand output.

VSI crushers are tertiary crushers used to crush, shape, and produce sand from hard and abrasive materials ranging between 0-40 mm in size.

There are two types of VSI crushers: closed rotor and open rotor.

Closed rotor VSI crushers can handle stones up to 0-40 mm in size. However, they are not suitable for processing returned material since oversized pieces may be present in the feed material from previous crushing stages.

VSI crushers operate by accelerating the incoming material within the rotor at a speed of 67-80 m/s, then propelling it towards the stone box lining inside the stator and other particles entering from outside the rotor. This rock-on-rock crushing method ensures highly efficient material reduction.

VSI Crushers are designed for materials with a hardness lower than class 9 and a moisture content of less than 9%. The processed materials must be non-flammable and non-explosive mineral materials.
